Gonadorelin (GnRH) 2mg
Gonadorelin is a synthetic decapeptide analog of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). It is a potent agonist of the GnRH receptor. When given intramuscularly or subcutaneously, it increases the release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which results in ovulation in women, and spermatogenesis in men. Gonadorelin is used as an ovulation induction agent in women who do not ovulate regularly but have normal ovarian reserves.
It is also used to treat female infertility caused by anovulation, and male infertility caused by hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. Gonadorelin is supplied as a lyophilized powder which must be reconstituted with sterile water prior to subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
Recommended Dosage:
The recommended dosage of gonadorelin for ovulation induction is 2.5 mg given intramuscularly or subcutaneously daily for 5 days, starting on day 5 of the menstrual cycle. The recommended dosage of gonadorelin for the treatment of female infertility caused by anovulation is 2.5 mg given intramuscularly or subcutaneously daily for 10 days, starting on day 5 of the menstrual cycle.
